Allen Meadows - Score: 91-93 (2021 January)

A completely different nose is brooding and somber and only reluctantly offers up its aromas of blue pinot fruit that is liberally laced with spice and floral nuances, especially violet and rose petal. The strikingly vibrant and intense middle weight flavors are not super-dense, but they are silky, tension-filled and precise while displaying outstanding persistence on the balanced finale. I very much like the sophisticated mouthfeel and this should be really lovely in time.
